The PLF490 module supports 48 pin TSOP flash and eproms up to 128M bits.
Typical applications include consumer products such as TV sets.
COST SAVING FEATURES
Plug-in ZIF sockets are fitted, as shown in the photograph, for economy.
A set of new sockets costs about 20% of the cost of buying a new module.
Consider a user programming 1,500 parts per day. Although the PLF490
uses some of the best sockets available, each month most of the sockets
will need replacing. It does not take many months to make a considerable
saving.
