PL490 MODULE
The PL490 module supports 48 pin TSOP flash and eproms.
Plug-in ZIF sockets are used on the four socket version making this
module ideal for programming very large numbers of devices. Typical
applications include mobile phones, set top boxes and other consumer products.
OPTIONS
There are three current versions of this module. The Mk 1 version
has two sockets which are soldered into the pcb. This version can
only support devices with a Vcc of 5V and the largest device size is
8M bits. It can be used on the L9000 and M9000 programmers only.
The Mk 2 version also has two sockets which are soldered into the
pcb. However, this version can support 3V as well as 5V devices.
The largest device size supported is 8M bits. It can be used on the
L9000 and M9000 programmers only
The Mk 3 version has four plug-in ZIF sockets which can be changed
in seconds making the module ideal for very high throughputs. 3V and
5V devices can be programmed and devices up to 16M bits are supported.
Larger 48 pin TSOP parts can be programmed on the PLF490 with the fxRAPIDO
programmer.
SPECIAL FEATURES
This module can either gang program up to four devices with
identical data or pairs of devices for 32 bit systems.
Plug-in ZIF sockets are fitted on the Mk 3 version.
