PL420 MODULE
The PL420 module supports 40 and 42 pin DIL eproms and flash up to 32M bits
such as 27C110 and 27C322. (Versions sold before September 2004 can only support
devices up to 16M bits.
The fxRAPIDO programmer is ideal for programming the large eproms supported
by this socket module.
SPECIAL FEATURES
This module can either gang program up to four devices with identical data
or pairs of devices for 32 bit systems. Note that two modules are needed
to program a 64 bit system.

27C110, 27C2100,27C400,27C4000,27C4100,27C4200,
27C800,27C8000,27C8111,57C8200,27C160 and 5716200.
PROGRAMMER RAM CONFIGURATION
For gang programming with identical data, the programmer ram
must not be smaller than the device size. For example, 4M bits
of ram is required for gang programming 27C4200s.
However, for set programming a pair of devices with 32 bit data,
twice as much programmer ram is required. For example, 8M bits
of programmer ram is needed to program a pair of two 27C4200s.
RELATED MODULES
Other 40 pin eproms such as 27C1024 can be programmed on the PL400
socket module. PLCC parts can be programmed on on the PL444 and PL445
modules.
